INTRODUCTION TO GAMING
Concepts
Idea 1
Whilst searching different tutorials regarding Unity, I found out that many creators use low-poly graphics. The videos below are some of my inspirations

Low-Poly
Idea 2
Another style I found very interesting was a minimalist game such as the one found below.
This would be ideal due to the lack of time but it would be problematic IF made for a mobile phone.
Idea 3

Construct 3 is an online website that helps create a demo of an application or game. It is an easy way to create a game without having to code anything.
It solemnly runs through the browser.
Mind Map

Side-Scrolling Game
I am thinking of evolving my game around a side-scrolling game including different levels or based on a storyline.
Games like 'Super Mario', 'Terraria', 'the trip' and 'Limbo' all inspired me to base my game on this style.

'They Bleed' is also a side-scrolling game. "When a young girl arrives at the Lafcadio Academy for Troubled Young Ladies, she's unprepared for the violent nightmares that plague her dreams and transport her to other worlds. Worse yet, her dreams are intruding into her waking life, slowly altering her flesh into the demonic form of her night terrors. Can she destroy the mysterious blood-soaked book that appears to be the root of her troubles or will her transmutation from girl to clawed horror become complete?" (https://spookysquid.com/tbp/info/, 2009-2017).
Idea 1 for Game
I created a side-scrolling concept for a game called 'FLY'. It includes swiping up and down to move the player (the paper airplane) out of the way from the obstacles for as long as you can.

These are all of the screens that can be found within the game. The first one on the left is the loading screen of the game. The second one is the main menu screen. There is also a help window on how to play the game. The Map selection screen on the right.
At the bottom there is the actual game play which rotates the screen to landscape. On the left is the actual game and on the right is the game over screen which you can then return to the main menu or replay.
Idea 2 for Game

The storyline of the game would be revolved around a baby deer trying to find his way back to his mother deer. This was inspired by the gif on the left (Even though it is the father).
Although due to the lack of time, I might not have enough time to be able to create this.

Idea 3 for Game
My third idea is a similar game to the 'Asteroids' game that came out during 1979. The video below demonstrates how the game is played.
Idea 4
After trying to work with Construct, I found that the limit of 40 events have limited my game's coding therefor I tried to search for other game engines. That is when I found Game Maker Studio 2. Although it does have its limits like some codes are allowed and the studio doesn't allow export, I still managed to make a simple functioning game.

Idea 4 for Game
For my fourth idea I decided to do something similar to Mario, a side-scroller platformer about this blue slime who tries to survive through the bullets from the enemies.
The main character, Blue, is inspired by 'Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends' on Cartoon Network as well as a retro/cyberpunk/80s vibe.
